The dates are set for the TSUSG Annual Meeting on September 9–11, 2026 in Boston, MA! Thank you to everyone who has already registered for the 2026 Annual Meeting. We continue to welcome additional stakeholders to register and secure their spot.

All participants should register and reserve lodging through the W Boston room block, available at a discounted rate of $349/night for TSUSG attendees.

This year’s meeting will feature:

• Engaging sessions and cross industry discussions
• A social networking event for all attendees
• An optional Friday tour hosted by QSA Global at Boston Harbor
• A no host group outing to Fenway Park for a Red Sox game

PC-8: Training opportunities within TSUSG:

• PC8 continues collaborative efforts to develop a beneficial case study, and lessons learned, repository on matters related to the transport of radiological materials on the TSUSG platform. It’s understood that lessons learned from accidents or incidents involving radiological materials is a sensitive matter that organizations may hesitate to share such information. However, the purpose of this initiative is to serve the stakeholders while safeguarding their operational capabilities, welcoming their contributions of transparency and goodwill.  PC8 would like to hear from you and any case studies or lessons learned from events that you can share. Please reach out to Juan at  jcgonzalez@fbi.gov.

PC-11: Develop a proposed national SOP for state-by-state escorting:

• Closed and will be reported out during the annual meeting in September.

PC-12: Review state-by-state inconsistencies:

• PC Leader Angela Leek is guiding the team on the creation of a questionnaire that has now been sent to all Agreement States, CRCPD contacts, and regulatory and response partners. The responses will be compiled into a table that provides TSUSG stakeholders with valuable information on each state’s requirements. We will begin compiling the responses by the end of July and present the finalized report at the annual meeting in September.

New Priority Committee: TSUSG PC 13 – National Communications Repository Framework

TSUSG is proposing a new Priority Committee to develop a national framework for secure, consistent communication during high‑consequence radioactive material transport. PC 13 will focus on creating a centralized framework of essential contact information, improving coordination among States, shippers, carriers, law enforcement, and fusion centers.

Key efforts include standardizing communication practices, defining data governance, ensuring secure access, and coordinating with DOT and NRC on potential regulatory pathways.
